News in brief

Amazingly, it will be our 2nd wedding anniversary on Monday! We're popping down for a meal at 'Ganapati', our terrific local Indian restaurant, to celebrate. This positive review describes typical customers as 'people on dates' so I guess they'll let us in!

Katrina (one of Dave's sisters) and Dave (another Dave, just to confuse you) are getting married in a few weeks time in Warrington - we're really looking forward to it.

We've finally booked a week's holiday in Germany during the World Cup. We'll be staying near Frankfurt and we're going with Sara's mum and dad! Anyone out there got any spare match tickets?!!

Private on Parade

You've probably noticed a few design changes to 'Tales from SE5'... I thought the blog could use a little spring-clean, plus a more relaxing Header picture without the violent colour clashes of the old SE5 map. (I took it at Camber Sands in Kent - sounds like it should be Camberwell-on-Sea!)

We visited Chris at Sandhurst a couple of weekends ago for his New College open day. It was great to see him and we enjoyed the day very much, despite the commanding officer bod telling us we should be very proud of our son!

Cadet Officer Wilcock - off duty!

On duty. He's in that crowd somewhere...

We were treated to a 20 minute display (in the freezing cold and rain!) by these bandsmen. They look very familiar, sure I've seen them somewhere before...
